Clinton Boyce Truesdale has been a Prince George's County resident for well over 40 years, in 27 years of that time he and his family have resided in the city of Bowie, Maryland. Entrepreneur, professional and trusted community leader all describe how he is known throughout the community and amongst his constituents. Upon opening his business "Tight N Up Barber Salon" (Bowie location in 2001), Clinton took on the role of mentoring numerous men and women in Prince George's County to become business owners, entrepreneurs, and public servants. In May of 2013, the Bowie Chamber of Commerce honored Truesdale for his dedication, business ethics, and community involvement with the "Business of the Year" award.
Clinton was appointed to serve on the Bowie City Council on February 21, 2023. In this position, he is liaison to the following committees: Advisory Planning Board and Community Recreation Committee. Truesdale has been active in city affairs having served on the Economic Development Committee as well. As a committed community servant leader, he strives to help make an impact in the city of Bowie by focusing on Economic Development, Public Safety, and Community Engagement in an effort to strengthen the community and elevate change for all.
Clinton and his wife, Linh, have 2 young adult sons, Clinton II and Kennedy, who work alongside him in the family business.
